About the Service
MPS Healthcare is proud to provide experienced agency nursing staff to Cartref Cleddau, a 24-bed mental health nursing home in Pembroke Dock, operated by Shaw healthcare. This home provides high-quality nursing care for adults with mental health conditions, dementia, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
The Role
As an Agency Registered Nurse (Mental Health), you’ll deliver safe, person‑centred nursing care to residents, supporting the permanent care team and promoting a positive environment. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will help maintain continuity and quality of care at every shift.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, individualised mental health nursing care aligned with NMC standards.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents with complex needs.

Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Support residents’ emotional wellbeing and promote dignity, respect, and independence.

Communicate clearly and sensitively with colleagues, residents, and families.

Build strong, trusting relationships through empathy and professionalism.
About You
-
Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.

At least 6 months of recent UK nursing experience in mental health or complex care.

Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Enhanced Adult and Child DBS on the Update Service (we can help arrange this if needed).

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
