Registered Nurse – Children’s Complex Care
MPS Complex Care is expanding our paediatric homecare team and we’re looking for Children’s Registered Nurses to support babies, children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes. We can offer full and part‑time hours, with a mix of days and nights to fit around your commitments.
What you’ll be doing

Providing safe, child‑centred nursing care in line with bespoke paediatric care plans.

Undertaking clinical tasks which may include tracheostomy care, ventilation support, enteral feeding, seizure management and catheter care (training and competency sign‑off provided).

Monitoring, assessing and recording the child’s condition, responding promptly to any changes.

Supporting children and families emotionally as well as clinically, promoting normality, play and participation in daily life.

Liaising with families, community teams, schools and wider MDTs to ensure continuity of care.

Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, documentation and professional practice.
What we’re looking for

NMC‑registered Children’s Nurse (RNC) – we may also consider RGN/RNLD with strong paediatric complex care experience.

Previous experience in paediatrics, PICU, community children’s nursing or children’s complex care desirable.

Excellent communication skills, with a sensitive, family‑focused approach.

Confidence working in the home environment, often as a lone practitioner, with robust clinical judgement.

Full UK right to work, enhanced DBS and up‑to‑date paediatric life support and mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
