About the Service
MPS Healthcare proudly supplies agency staff to Cartref Cleddau, a 24-bed mental health nursing home in Pembroke Dock managed by Shaw healthcare. The home provides compassionate care for adults living with mental health conditions, dementia, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
The Role
As an Agency Healthcare Support Worker, you’ll provide essential daily care and support to residents, ensuring dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. You’ll work alongside qualified nurses and permanent staff to deliver consistent, person-centred care that makes a lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and daily activities.

Encourage independence and promote emotional and physical wellbeing.

Follow care plans and report changes promptly to nursing staff.

Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and families.

Build rapport and provide empathetic support to those in your care.
About You

At least 6 months of UK care experience (mental health or complex care preferred).

Right to work in the UK (current eligibility required).

Enhanced Adult and Child DBS on the Update Service (we can help arrange this if needed).

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
