Healthcare Support Worker – Complex Care (Adults & Children)
MPS Complex Care is seeking experienced Healthcare Support Workers to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to adults, young people and children with complex needs in their own homes. We have full and part‑time opportunities across a range of packages, so you can work the hours that suit you.
What you’ll be doing

Delivering hands‑on care in line with individual care plans, promoting comfort, dignity and independence.

Supporting with personal care, moving and handling, nutrition and hydration, continence care and social activities.

Assisting with delegated clinical tasks appropriate to your training and competency, which may include suctioning, PEG feeding, seizure management or oxygen therapy.

Observing and accurately reporting changes in the service user’s condition to the supervising Nurse and office team.

Building strong, trusting relationships with service users and their families.

Adhering to all safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures.
What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Healthcare Support Worker / Care Assistant, ideally within complex care, domiciliary care, nursing homes or hospitals.

Relevant care qualifications (e.g. NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) or a willingness to work towards them.

Reliable, professional and compassionate, with excellent communication skills.

Confident following detailed care plans and working in the home environment.

Full UK right to work, enhanced DBS and up‑to‑date mandatory training (or willingness to obtain).
